Cancellation Policy
Your appointment is very important to me, it is reserved especially for you. I understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary and that unexpected circumstances can occur; therefore, I respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This gives me the chance to offer the appointment to clients waiting to get in.
Please cancel or reschedule with 24+ hours notice. Canceling OR rescheduling with LESS THAN 24 hours notice, no matter the reason, will result in losing your deposit, or a 50% charge of your appointment fee. A NO CALL/NO SHOW will result in a 100% charge of your appointment fee. Cancellation fees must be paid before booking with Wicked Lash Design again. Your appointment takes up a certain amount of time and will end at the scheduled time even if you are late. Additionally, if you are 20 minutes or more late for an appointment you will need to reschedule and will be subject to the last minute rescheduling fee.
Please respect your lash artist’s time and livelihood. Cancelling last minute or no showing results in the technician losing out on income since there is not enough time to fill this appointment spot. I am aware emergencies arise, but please do your best to avoid last minute cancelling and rescheduling. ❤️

Frequently Asked Questions
Eyelash Extension Questions:
Q: I've never had lash extensions before. What should I expect for my first visit?
A: You should be prepared to be in the studio for up to 3 hours. Your lash artist will have paperwork for you to fill out, will have some questions for you and will explain the procedure to you, as well as answer any questions or concerns you may have.
DO NOT wear contacts or any eye makeup. If you wore mascara within the past couple days, make sure to clean them really well. You will be lying on your back for 2 to 3 hours (time is dependent on different factors with each individual). Please put your phone on silent mode as you will not be able to open your eyes for this extended amount of time, and we need you in a relaxed state for the duration of the application process. Also inform any loved ones that you will be unavailable for the next few hours so they don't get worried when you aren't answering.
Q: Will I lose my natural lashes?
A: Yes. Your lashes shed just as your hair sheds, you just don't notice this as much because they're so thin and tiny. Once you have extensions attached to them, you will notice them more only because the extensions are thicker, longer and darker. As long as you go to a reputable lash artist that knows the proper application process, you will not lose any more lashes than you normally would.
***Eyelash extensions, when applied correctly along with proper aftercare, WILL NOT CAUSE HARM to your natural lashes!
Q: Can I still wear makeup?
A: Yes you can. However you will want to alter some habits and products. Make sure you use OIL FREE makeup, along with OIL FREE makeup remover. Products containing oil will affect the retention of your lashes because it deactivates the adhesive.
Note: If you like wearing heavy eye makeup, you will be better off using strip lashes.
Q: What about Mascara?
A: In my personal/professional opinion, mascara is an absolute NO NO with eyelash extensions! There are "extension safe" mascaras that you can purchase - OIL FREE ones - but I still do not recommend using them. If you still feel that you must use it, please use the extension safe mascara, and only coat the TIPS, NOT THE ENTIRE LASHES from root to tip as you would apply it normally.
NOTE: If you use mascara on your extensions and come in for a fill, you may be required to pay a makeup removal fee - or worse - they may need to be removed completely so a new set can be applied. Usually this would have to be scheduled at a later date because the time allotted for a fill is not nearly enough time for a removal and full set.
Q: How do I clean the lashes once I get them?
A: Cassie will explain this all in person. She will suggest you buy an eye lash extension foam cleanser. She has some available for purchase at WLD. You should try to clean your lashes and eyelids with the cleanser once a day, minimum of 3- 4 days a week recommended. Use OIL FREE MAKEUP REMOVER FIRST if you have eye makeup on.
Q: Why does it take so long and cost so much?
A: Your lash artist is using sharp instruments around your eyes and is using near- surgical precision. Your lashes get isolated one by one so an extension can be placed on them, one by one. The average person has approximately 150-200 individual lashes per upper eyelid, so as you can imagine this process is a tedious one. Trust me, you do not want to go to someone that can do this job in a half hour... these are the eyelash extensions that will ruin your natural lashes! The cost of your session is going towards your lash techs talent, experience and time as well as towards the products, general supplies, etc.
Q: Why are there no refunds?
A: As stated in the previous answer, the session cost is going towards your lash artists time, talent, supplies, etc. Once a service is rendered, a refund is not justifiable. Cassie will do as much as she can to make her clients happy, but if you are still not satisfied she will gladly remove the lashes at no cost.
Q: What if I lose a lot of extensions quickly?
A: a lot of times this is due to user error; using oily products, not cleansing or brushing lashes daily, sleeping on your face. However, if a lot have fallen off within 24 hours of application then it may be an application issue. The adhesive for extensions is extremely finicky with temp and humidity and sometimes it’s hard to control these things. If this happens, Cassie guarantees her work and will provide a complimentary retouch if contacted within the next 24 hours after initial application. Please note that losing extensions is a normal process and losing only a few does not warrant a complimentary retouch. This is reserved for a client who has lost a large amount, like nearly half of their extensions within 24 hours.
Q: What if I have an allergic reaction?
A: If this unfortunate event happens, please contact your lash artist immediately. DO NOT TRY TO REMOVE THEM YOURSELF. Cassie will fit you in as soon as possible to remove them at NO COST. If you are having a severe reaction (unlikely), call your doctor or go to the ER as soon as possible.
Q: Why do you not accept fill appointments for clients coming from other lash artists?
A: This is one of those call me and talk to me situations, but here is why I prefer not to: I never know what I'm going to get when a client comes in with another artists work. They could be done improperly, and I will have to suggest removing them, and having to make an appointment for a new set. No one wants to hear this and pay for another full set, and it is never fun being the bearer of bad news. If you are visiting from another state, have a wedding or special event to go to, I am happy to schedule a consultation and if everything looks good then we are good to go!
